10/9/03 St. Petersburg, Florida (October 9, 2003) Florida International Museum (FIM) announces an annual Membership Program is now available, offering exceptional value for patrons. The Membership Program coincides with museum’s new campaign entitled We Bring the World to You, and two world class exhibitions opening this fall: Russian Odyssey: Riches of the State Russian Museum and The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s Baseball As America. “We are very excited about our membership campaign and upcoming exhibition schedule,” said Kathy Oathout, FIM Executive Director. “Never before has the Tampa Bay area had two exhibits of this quality on display simultaneously.” The national tour of Baseball As America is sponsored by Ernst & Young. patrons can enjoy membership that includes unlimited general admissions
to FIM; advance notice of special exhibits and events; invitations to previews
and special functions; discounts in the museum store; and membership to
the Smithsonian Institution, which includes an outstanding benefit package
of its own. Individuals, families and businesses may select from membership
packages that are tailored to their individual needs. The Florida International Museum has extended hours for the upcoming exhibitions: Monday through Saturday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Christmas and New Year’s Day. Last tickets are sold at 4 p.m., 7 p.m. on Friday.
