The Smithsonian Affiliations program stands as one of the pillars of the Smithsonian's efforts to reach out to communities across America . Through artifact loans, traveling exhibitions, educational programming, professional development, and technical assistance, our work has enabled countless citizens to experience the marvelous legacy of the Smithsonian in their own neighborhoods.
