May 11, 2007 Dear Friends, The Florida International Museum (FIM) will close the final day of Wolf to Woof, Sunday, May 13 – remain closed for the summer – and re-open September 14 – December 31, 2007 with the Age of Armor exhibit from the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, Mass. The Wondrous Cold exhibit from The Smithsonian, scheduled for this summer, has been cancelled. FIM enjoyed hosting Wolf to Woof: The Story of Dogs this season and was very pleased with the positive comments from our guests. The Smithsonian for Kids Camp and the series of dog and wolf-related programs were very popular and created an educational and fun experience for our visitors, staff and volunteers. We look forward to your visit in the fall when we open The Age of Armor focusing on the legendary knights of the Medieval and Renaissance World. If you need to contact FIM during the summer, please call the museum's main number: 727-341-7900 and there will be phone options for you to leave a message. Have an enjoyable and safe summer! Very truly yours, |
